USER GUIDES/MANUALS DOWN LOAD

Currently, User Guides/Manuals are provided FREE if you meet ALL CONDITIONS as Follows:

  1. You are NOT: a competitor, associated to any competitors or planning to be a competitor.
  2. You agree to observe the copy rights of the Products.
  3. You are a potential customer of CAEinc including below:
    • Any academic users without definite connection as mentioned in (1).
    • Any entity invited to use CAESETS for comparison to UNCOVER STAAD MISREPRESENTATION. [Vendor to provide powerful Examples (non-linear or not) for such comparison at TRUE_REPRE Folder on Drive Y:\.]
    • [Also Vendor to reward to entity/entities at least US$50.00 for each solution with competitors' existing software on CAESETS Examples. It will be done periodically at TRUE_NO_1 Folder on Drive Y:\.]
  • For amount of pages (all 8.5" X 11", A4 OK) of Manuals, click here for a Table.

    You are encouraged to connect to the World-wide 24-hr On-line Computation Center without prior notice and proceed to copy the Usergide Folder at Mapped Drive X: to your hard disk; say C: drive.
    Then you can double click Usergide.exe (or Xprog.exe) at your own computer with printer to print them out. It shall operate under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and/or DOS 5.0, 6.0, 6.2.
    The recommended printers are laser printers that can emulate HP laser Jet II/III.

    A SIMPLE/CONVENTIONAL COPYING IN WINDOWS 95
    (steps to copy from CAEinc COMPUCENTER hard disk to your hard disk)

    At Mapped working drive X:, single-click Folder Usergide to high light it as shown below:

    Then, click Edit on the Menu Bar; then Double-click Copy on the Dropped-down Menu as shown below:

    Double-click the Drive X:\ Icon on the Address Bar to let the Dropped-down Menu show up.
    Then single-click your C: drive to go to the C: Windows. (It can be other drive or location you want.) In this case, the complete name for C: drive is W95refrma99[C:].

    At C: Drive, click Edit on the Menu Bar; then double-click Paste on the Dropped-down Menu as shown below:

    You wait for a moment and you will begin to see that files are transfering from "USERGIDE" to "USERGIDE" with animated papers flying. It will take about about 4 to 20 minutes to finish depending on your modem speed.
    TO SHORTEN UP TIME, YOU CAN TRANSFER LESS FILES INSTEAD OF ENTIRE FOLDER. JUST DO NOT TRANSFER THE FILES THAT START WITH THE GI* and THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO PRINT.

    On your computer, at C: Drive double-click Folder Usergide.
    Then double click Usergide.exe (or Xprog.exe) with your printer on to print them out. It shall operate under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and/or DOS 5.0, 6.0, 6.2.

    Note: These documents may be 95.% (not 100%) up-to-date.
    Log onto the Computation Center, and check on the Y: drive rather than X: drive, or
    contact Vendor if you have been long term steady customers.
